Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made from Gangsta Geeks LLC doing business as Smartscale Consulting ("Smartscale Consulting," "we," "us," or "our"), including the SaaS subscription, done-for-you services, monthly retainers, and courses (collectively, the "Services").
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing the Services you agree to it.
1. Cancellation
You may cancel your monthly SaaS subscription or monthly retainer at any time through your client portal at client.smartscaleconsult.com or by emailing [email protected].
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Services through the end of the period for which you have already paid. We do not pro-rate or refund partial billing periods.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee on Initial Purchase
If you are not satisfied with your initial purchase of a SaaS subscription, course, or done-for-you engagement, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the date of that initial purchase by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
Eligibility:
- The request must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- The 14-day guarantee applies to your first purchase only — it does not apply to renewals, recurring billing, additional services purchased after the initial transaction, or repeat purchases.
- For done-for-you services, the guarantee applies only if work product has not been delivered or substantially commenced. If work has been delivered or is substantially in progress, the guarantee does not apply.
- For courses, the guarantee may be voided if you have downloaded a substantial portion of the course materials or completed more than 25% of the course.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.
3. No Refunds on Renewals
All renewal charges are non-refundable. This includes the second and subsequent monthly subscription charges, monthly retainer renewals, and any other recurring fees. To avoid being charged for a renewal, you must cancel before the renewal date as described in Section 1.
4. No Refunds for Partial Billing Periods
If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a refund or pro-rated credit for the unused portion of the current billing period. Your access continues through the end of the period.
5. Failed Payments and Account Suspension
If a payment fails and we are unable to collect after reasonable retry attempts, we may suspend or terminate your access. Suspended or terminated accounts due to failed payments are not eligible for refunds of past charges.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can resolve it directly. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in immediate termination of your account, loss of access to your data, and pursuit of recovery for any chargeback fees and outstanding balance.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We may, at our sole discretion, grant refunds outside the terms of this policy in cases of demonstrable platform error, billing error, or other exceptional circumstances. Approval of a discretionary refund in one case does not obligate us to do so in any other case.
